Playing the music of Paul Motian
Andrew Dixon is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator who has performed worldwide and released four albums. A Chicago native, he studied under NEA Jazz Master David Liebman and has earned numerous accolades, including a full music scholarship to the University of Illinois. He has toured over 100 countries, playing major festivals like Monterey, Montreal, and Tokyo Jazz, as well as renowned venues such as Lincoln Center and SFJAZZ.
