Benny Amon Trio

Benny Amón is an accomplished SF based bandleader and sideman who specializes in styles of jazz from the first half of the 20th century. His piano-bass-drums trio brings to life the vibrant and emotional sounds of classic trios from the 30s-50s including music from Ahmad Jamal, Erroll Garner, Art Tatum, Clarence Profit, and many more.

Joining Benny will be accomplished San Francisco based musicians in their own right. Rumi Abe on piano, who has made a splash on the Bay Area bop and hard bop scenes, along with Dexter Williams on bass, one of the first call bassists for everything from gypsy jazz to modern jazz.

Just a reminder -- a two drink minimum or a $20 spend from each guest is expected!
