Isaac Coyle Quartet

Isaac Coyle is a bassist, composer, and educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area, recognized as one of the region's top emerging jazz voices. A 2023 graduate of Berklee College of Music—where he studied with Ralph Peterson, Linda Oh, Darren Barrett, and Terri Lyne Carrington—Coyle is a frequent collaborator with Carrington’s New Standards band, performing nationally. Originally a guitarist, he transitioned to upright bass at 14 and quickly became a standout, mentored by Bay Area legends like Howard Wiley and Jeff Chambers. His early training included stints with the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars and the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, laying the foundation for a vibrant and growing career.
