Jack Roben Quartet

Oakland-based guitarist Jack Roben has performed nationwide with artists like Eric Reed, Gregory Tardy, and the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra. Raised in Seattle’s jazz scene, he studied at the University of North Texas (B.M. in Jazz Studies) and the University of Northern Colorado (M.M.), where he was a Graduate Teaching Assistant. He later taught jazz guitar and theory at the University of Tennessee for three years before relocating to California in 2023. Now an active performer and educator, he works with the Stanford Jazz Workshop and Oakland Public Schools.
