Knudsen has received multiple commissions, including from San Jose Jazz, Intersection for the Arts, and the California Jazz Conservatory, and was awarded InterMusic SF’s Small Chamber Music Grant. She co-leads and collaborates with numerous ensembles, performing with artists such as Tune-Yards, Fred Frith, and Charlie Hunter.
