Michael Potter Trio

Michael Potter is a jazz pianist based in San Francisco, with a deep love for the traditions of straight-ahead swing in addition to the contemporary sounds of jazz fusion. Recently returned from two years teaching and performing in Japan, Michael brings a global sensibility to his playing while remaining grounded in the roots of the music. A regular presence in the Bay Area scene, he performs across a range of settings—from classic jazz combos to collaborations in fusion, R&B, and soul.
